Bandar Imam Petrochemical

Following the construction of Bandar Imam Petrochemical Complex, the port city of Mahshahr was turned into an effective petrochemical pole. The project was launched in 1370 (1991-1992) and after its accomplishment, Iran was turned into one of the main exporters of petrochemical products.
Jondishapour, an EPC company which took on construction of LD and PP-OL units as its primary projects employed young manpower with little experience and after going through necessary training, assigned them to the project in three working shift round the clock. Construction of the mentioned units lasted for about 13 months and during that period, 184,000 cubic meters was excavated, 12,200 cubic meters was concreted and 152,000 ID welding was completed.
In fact, it could be said that using young staff including engineers and experts who had just been graduated from university was a satisfactory experience in implementation of this policy, which became one of the main and permanent slogans of Jondishapour EPC Contractor Company.
It should be noted that the mentioned project was assigned to Jondishapour EPC Contractor Company by Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company (BIPC).
